Is this a ride or just an open house at the dealership?

It's actually a bluegrass festival in Blairsville, GA with a bike & car show. Freedom Power Sports sent out a postcard about it late last week & offered a BBQ plate for any Spyder Rider attending who would email them @ SpyderRider@FreedomPowerSports.net .
We're thinking of a day ride there & back just as an excuse to ride...

I'm guesing 10:00 - 10:30-ish if we run up 985 to Gainesville (like I said, just a guess). If we go another route to stay off the interstate, it could be longer...
Need everyone to have a full tank & empty bladder.

There's a QuikTrip @ Hwy 11 & I-985 in Gainsville. How about meeting there @ 8:45 - 9:15?

Meet at Gainesville
ok, We can do that. We'll be there 8:45 waiting, gassed up and bladder empty!

SWMBO and I are in. Haven't decided on which meet point to join but will be at one of them (G & BE). Tentatively, we have camping spot at the Lodge at Copperhead so we may spend the night. Only planning on the RT for this trip, Ms. Daisy ('08 yellow GS) will be left in the garage.

Oh,
you guys have all the fun. Be safe, ride safe, we'll catch you next time. Peace.

Sorry, have to bow out.
Mel and I will not be able to make it this weekend to Copperhead. Y'all have nice rides, we will likely be stuck in cage.

Oh well, can't make it this weekend and still take my son to his competition. I know that at 14 years old, it won't be long before he does not want me around so I need to treasure this time while I have it.

Copperhead, had a good time.
There were 19 Spyders there. Great day, great food (free), and a great bunch of riders. There was a BRP sales rep. there to talk to. Freedom Motor Sports, thanks for the good time.

I had a great time. Don't think the turnout was as much as they had hoped.

That can be pinned on SHORT and minimal notice. Notification should have come from ALL BRP dealers, not just Freedom. (imho)

This wasn't a BRP event, but one of the sponsors was Freedom PowerSports. They did have a guy named Matt, from BRP there. They're wanting to sponsor a Georgia Spyder club. Contact Amanda Blackstone @ ablackstone@freedompowersports.com for more information.
