Amazing rescue...
I know this should go in the off-topic---- but WOW------check out this video--- the biker lived.

A dramatic rescue was captured on video Monday in Logan, Utah, where bystanders saved a man from beneath a fiery wreck after his motorcycle collided with a car.
Authorities say 21-year-old Brandon Wright was riding his motorcycle on U.S. 89 near Utah State University's campus in Logan when he crashed into a BMW pulling out of a parking lot, the Associated Press reports.
Tire and skid marks on the highway indicate that Wright laid the bike down and slid along the road before colliding with the car, Assistant Police Chief Jeff Curtis said.
The motorcycle bounced off the car's hood, and Wright slid under the vehicle. Both the car and Wright's bike then burst into flames. That's when a group of strangers, including the driver of the BMW, stepped in. About 10 people worked together to lift the car up, and a construction worker pulled Wright out from underneath.
"I'm just very thankful for everyone that helped me out," Wright told the AP by telephone from his hospital bed. "They saved my life."
"Every one of those people put their lives in danger," Assistant Police Chief Curtis said. "Those people are heroes.
The video was taken by Chris Garff, 31, a media production specialist at Utah State University, who was shooting a video inside a nearby university building when he looked out a window and saw smoke.
"I turned the camera toward it and started to record," Garff told the AP. "It was a remarkable thing to see 10 to 12 people lift that car and pull him out."

Just watching that makes my heart swell and brings me to tears. It's good to know that there are so many kind folks out there willing to put their lives in jeopardy to save another person's life.
Thanks for sharing Firefly.

Maybe in Utah... In NYC they'd just reach in and try to grab your wallet while you're pinned.

The old NY might have just pass and keep going, but now I think they would jump into auction and do the same. Just goes to show that there are some great people left in this world that think of the other one as well.

I used to live in Logan. Its a small college town, they don't see many accidents like that. Good people up there.

that is crazy, and great, people doing instead of calling 911 about something that needs to be done now.

I was thinking the same thing... I know nothing about Utah's laws regarding helmet use; but if that's the legal choice that he made I now have to wonder if he'll reconsider it...
...But at least he has been granted that opportunity!

This rescue made NBC news last night--no additional details added from the newscast.
Very lucky rider. I also hope he considers wearing a helmet for future rides--unless it got lost in the impact?

I was kind of wondering that too... it might have remained under the car...

From what the press wrote, the motorcyclist wasn't wearing any protective gear.
