BRP has one at Maggie Valley. Just for show. I don't think it runs. Good idea though

If they come out with this Technology and there is a Hybrid Spyder, I will pre-order it and trade in my current Spyder. I would love to have a Hybrid Spyder. That is just too kool.
It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the most adaptive to change.

I also plan to get one of these ( but an RT - Modell) .. the technology is maybe more for europe . ..but its not only for the spyder - on most of our lakes its forbidden to drive a motorboat in july/august and now the first hotels start with electric (noiseless) skidoos in the mountains - hope BRP is fast enough with this technology ..
good feeling to ryde a green spyder

I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable with a first-generation hybrid from Can Am... That's an awful lot of technology that has to be resized and repackaged to fit within the current size parameters...
I'd like to see some of the areo-styling added to ours though...

It is my understanding that this will not just be a 'made ONE because we can'---- that they were given a $10 million grant by the Canadian Gov. to actually bring one to market......
Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!
