Default My new Muffler for my RT

I changed mine out last week. I could not see spending 4 to 800.00 for a muffler so I came up with my own. I used a Magnaflow, 175.00 installed from a local muffler shop. After I got it home, I made 3 brackets to mount my heat shield off of the stock muffler No louder than stock but a very deep tone.I tried to do a video but the sound sucked...

Thats is one of the best looking exhausts for the RT I have seen yet.

Could you possibly post up some part numbers of the parts you installed. Might talk the wife into this one, and the price is right.

    Default New Muffler

Do you have it connected to the collector can under the bike or did you remove it and go straight to the pipes.

I would love to do that to my bike also.

Do you have any pictures of the brackets you made? What did you use and how hard was it to make them? You wouldn't happen to have a pattern for them that you'd like to share would you?

    Lookin real nice......
