    Default Salt Flats with SethO

I really need to apologize to all, for not posting, since I got back from the salt flats with Seth. I have to tell you, I really had a great time with Bruce (Bootie) and Seth. Working with these two guys was a real pleasure. This was a great experience helping Seth, doing what he loves best, .... racing. He puts a lot into it......and gets a lot out of it.
I had been by the flats several times, but this was my first experience to be on the actual Bonneville Salt Flats with the racing format.
The whole the thing is well planned out, with safety being a main concern. Everybody seemed to want to help each other with information, tools, parts, etc....
I was very surprised with the number of foreign teams that come here to race their machines. Also the number of women drivers that participate in this sport.
The one thing that i was not surprised with, was the heat.
I've uploaded several pictures to facebook (my first time) so I do hope you are able to view them. I have video also to post, but I just need more time, since this is new to me, so I will post them as soon as I learn how.
Thanks again Seth for the invite.

....and we're gonna ride, we're gonna ride.....

I could not have done it with you and bruce, I called larry on less than a days notice (people bailing on me but not telling me till I called) and 3 hours after I called him the day before leaving he calls and says, (yep I can go, just pick me up) spyderlovers unite. I can't describe how you really get to know someone when you are on a 28 hour death run to get some place and larry is the man to travel with.

It was a none stop blur from the Thursday before I left to the thursday after trainning I had, I did not have 20 minutes to do anything but the next thing for a week, running on 5 hours or less of sleep a night (2 on travel days) and larry was right there the whole way. My hat is off to you sir.
I am existing right now, would give anything to live again. Fix my sci and you have everything I own.
