We arrived home safe and sound around 3:30. We took the long way, and had a great seven hour ride. Good riding, pretty good weather, and good friends! who could ask for more?

    Default Had a Great Time

    Hi all,
Emily and I had a great time. Bob, thanks for putting this together. The rides were great. While we had put more continous hours on our bike this was the longest we had spent on the bike in a day. We enjoyed everyone's company and look forward to next year. The pics are great. Once again thanks.

Joan and I got home about 3:00 PM. We really had a great time! It couldn't get any better: good friends, good food, and good scenery. For us the best was just sitting around and chatting with all of you in both the hotel cafe and the restaurants.
Bob and Rachel thanks for the great pictures. BTW Bob on your last picture where you go Ann? that's Joan riding sweep. I'm already thinking about next year's ride...so stay tuned. Give me a couple of days and I'll PM everyone with the rider list of names/etc.
Thanks for allowing Joan and I to host this event. Just your being there made hosting it easy! Bob & Joan

HI. Laura and I had a super good time. Met some new friends and chatted with some old ones. The weather could have been a tad bit warmer but was still a good day ride for us. Thanks for the great ride Bob. Hope to see all of you soon. Ride safe.

White hair is a sign of great wisdom. The excess brain cells leak out and stain the hair. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Scotty, words of wisdom. I will rememder them. You have the scooters put away for the winter? I have the Spyder put away, waiting for spring. We are going to take it to Georgia, in April.
The BMW, is still waiting for a warm day. Don't laugh it can happen.

The BMW and Spyder are at the ready, stabilized and hooked to the chargers, but ready to take advantage of this incredibly warm winter weather. I rode the Spyder Christmas Day, but the BMW has been lonely this year. I may sell it in the Spring and get a dual-sport or adventure cycle. No time to ride now, anyway. I am in the midst of a major bathroom remodeling. I may sneak in a ride late Tuesday or sometime Wednesday, though, while my thinset cures before I can grout.

Was just invited to ride the "tunnel of trees" in the fall. Goggled it, and found the top picture. Thought it looked like you.......magnified it and then knew for sure.

Sure looks like a nice putt.

This is a terrific ride but I don't think cindi & I will still be here in Michigan at that point in time...We hope to be in either Louisville, KY or Eastern TN by then...I would encourage anybody to make this ride...The scenery if terrific and you can't beat the food.
