If you have enough power to boot Spyder-- yes-- you can push and pop clutch to start-- but the manual says not to do it---- but I've done it without problem.

Perhaps put it on a battery tender for awhile.

You'll need to do some riding to charge her up if you don't have a tender....

    Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
    Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
    Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
    Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!

I do put the battery on a tender. But, just in case. Inquiring mines what to know. You know what I mean.

Yep, Just like car with an Auto., But with all the electrons on a Spyder i would think you'll be throwing codes if that battery is completely dead'

Even if you could push start the Spyder, if the problem was a low battery (as opposed to a bad starter motor or solenoid), you would face scads of other problems. The dash display would light up like a Christmas tree with all the faults, and the Spyder would likely enter limp mode, with the added benefit of no VSS or ABS, and no power steering. Many of these faults would not reset without the switch being turned off, even when the magneto was charging well. That would be a vicious circle. I'm not sure of the benefits of firing up a real unhappy Spyder?
