Default Lamont/Spyderpops heat block off plate

I am installing the plate as I write this. There is a piece of velcro about 4 inches long but no instruction on where it goes? Anyone done this and have any idea?

    Thanks,

    Randy

The velcro is meant to secure that right side panel and keep it from blowing off as many have experienced. It will help when those wascally ole gwommets get cantakerous and don't want to hold the panel.

Look for a section that is at least 4 inches long that you can install the velcro so as to keep that particular panel secure.

    Randy,
No, you peal the backing off one side and attach it in the area described in Lamont's post. Then after it is attached to the panel simply pull off the other backing and place the panel back on the roadster and then they always be aligned.

Sorry, I was unclear in my last post, I meant I cut the one pair in half than attached each half to the area shown in lamonts post. I installed the velcro last nite so all is well, lol...

    Regards,

    Randy

    Default 2nd shield

I "made" a second shield for the lower opening along the same design as the one i got from spyderpops....was concerned the heat buildup would not be good, however, the bike is running 1 1/2 bars lower then befor any mod.
