Excellent Scotch
Recently experienced Balvenie Carribean Cask 14 yo. It is wonderful! Can't do it often $$$ but highly recommend Scotch drinkers try it.

Thanks!
Do you think we'd get a better price for a group buy? ;-)

Recently had the opportunity to try Johnny Walker Blue Lable. That is, without a doubt, the smoothest wiskey I've ever had. Having said that, I don't think I'll be buying any soon at $200.00 bucks a bottle

I am not a scotch drinker but I had a shot of some 21 year old single malt scotch that was actually pretty good but when I was told it sells for over $200 a bottle I didn't even bother asking the brand name.

I was surprised by a bottle of Dalwhinnie 15 year old Single Malt. Aged in Special Oak barrels. Extra smooth and reasonably priced for the quality!
McCallan 18Yr. is still my fave as well!

I used to be a McCallan guy but now I'm with Balvenie - keep 2 bottles in the motorhome: a 12 year old for when there are quests, and a 15 year old when I'm sipping by myself.
Will have to look for the Caribbean Cask, never heard of it before.

What Vulcan neck thingie? (as wife of Yol, I think I need to know what I beat him to)
As far as scotch goes, I usually want him to buy Glenlivet (really like the 18 yr), but the Caribbean Cask was really nice. The Obanis good and there was another one we brougt back from England, but I can't remember the name.

Scotch
Another point of view - Scotch is good but myself I like to sip some purple bag ( Crown Royal ) over ice after a hard ride. As they say " what ever floats your boat" !

Scotch--MacNaughton 33
Irish--Tullamore Dew or 20 year old Jameson
But I quit in '87, they may not be available anymore.
