    Lightbulb More Cheap Mods

    Cheap mods, gotta love 'em.

First, I took Heliplt's GPS mount idea for his RT and moved it to the dash on a RS. A little vibration, but for what little time you look at it its not a problem.

Then Jeff's (JJW SpyderRider) trunk release. Got the door lock actuator from parts-express.com around $11.

Button hidden above the cluster. Removed the warning do-hicky.

    Thanks guys for the ideas.

Looks good to me, I was slightly concerned that the suction cup would disengage from the vibration, so I bought another suction cup mount on e bay for 4 bucks and bolted it through the plate. If you look on the lever there is a metal pin going through it, push it out with a small screwdriver. It will release the handle and suction cup exposing a hollow post inside. Then you can drill a hole in the plate and run a bolt through into the gps mount that will make the suction cup permanent and you can still remove the gps off of the ball on the end.

By the way I’m a huge KISS fan, love the paint on your bike, KISS in 1979 was my first concert at twelve years old. They just came to town last week in Seattle.

Cool mods. Do you have a part number for the "door lock actuator"?
