Default Tips on riding the Tail of the Dragon

I'll be in Maryville, TN in a just about a weeks time for my clubs summer nationals, and I know we're going to ride the Tail of the Dragon. I loved the twisties on 2 wheels, but was wondering if there were any tips from you folks that have already ridden the Dragon on the Spyder that I should know?

    Thanks!

Don't ride on weekends/holidays. That is when all those with a death wish ride. Remember to ride within your abilities and don't allow others to force you outseide of your comfort zone. Most of all . . . enjoy the ride -- it is an amazing journey!

There's so many cops there on the weekend that they pretty much killed any fast riding there.

Just keep your focus and look where you want to go and you'll do fine.

The only thing I would suggest is watch your front tire pressure. Try to keep it on the higher side of your comfort zone to make the turning easier. I like it around 18 psi. Others here run higher.

Of course, as always, my free advice comes with a double your money back guarantee.

be prepared to be tired after running it hard, if you want to. You have to play the nanny if you are pushing the spyder too, most of it is 2nd or 3rd.
