Got hit
I had to go into the hospital for emergency surgery on 9 May and am still not cleared to drive. The other night, one of my brothers from US Military Vets MC hitched up my trailer and we drove up to the hospital to rescue my Spyder from the hospital parking lot.
Looks like I got hit on the left front tire. The fender is displaced about 1/2" off center and my paint job on the left front mud flap is trashed and will need to be redone. Not sure exactly what needs to be done to realign the fender. Tire is not rubbing so I think it's rideable until I can get it fixed.
Of course, the culprit didn't report it nor did he/she leave a note. Grrrrrrrrrrr

Unclear. Did the Spyder get hit in the parking lot?
Hope you are healing from your surgery. Too bad about your Spyder. Hope you can get it fixed without too much difficulty.

Hope you're feeling better. Maybe have the Hospital check their security cameras to see who hit you.

That is a good idea Lamont had. Perhaps a camera got a decent shot of the car that hit your Spyder. It Doesn't sound too bad, but we'll wait and see what the final report on that is.
That can sit though until you get better. Wishing you a very speedy recovery.

I hope you have a rapid recovery from the surgery, and that everything is going to be okay for you. Hopefully, like Lamont said, the hospital has cameras that may help. Best of luck getting your Spyder fixed back to the way you had it, after you get yourself better.

The Irish solution
Dear Irishman
Here is the solution-------Have Guinness look over the damage-----Have a Guinness and show your friend the damage------Have a Guinness show the painter the damage.
Have a Guinness and then have a Guinness and try to remember what you were concerned about.
I hope things are on the mend already.

Isn't Guinness the weakest beer made ??? 3% alcohol. All that dark beer and no buzz would just make me pee alot. Just head straight to the Tequilla !!!

I hope you are recovering well. The Spyder can get fixed but that's no good if you don't get healed up.
I had both my kidneys removed on the 13th and got the 64 staples removed this morning and cleared to ride again. Looking forward to getting back on the Spyder was great modivation to get well soon.

Hope you mend quick and well, praying for it.
The struts for the front fenders are fairly easy to bend, some idiot stood on my right front, put it down on the tire. Pulled wheel, took fender off, straightened struts.

Drinking to me is a social event and it's not about alcohol content, it's about taste. Actually, I prefer Smithwick's
