Radio with a mind of it's own
My wife had an interesting thing happen to her RT Limited yesterday. After returning home from work she was unloading her Spyder. The key had been off for a couple of minutes. She turned it on to un-lock the "frunk", then turned the key to the "off" position. As she walked around to the front of the Spyder, the radio came on by it's self, played for several seconds, then turned off. I was standing nearby and saw the whole thing. After removing her stuff from the frunk, I asked her to try it again and the same thing happened. I don't remember reading of this phenominum before in this forum. Has anyone else had this happen? Is this an omen of something worse to come?

There is supposed to be a way to keep the radio on with the key off. Of course when you want it to do that it doesn't work. I know I tried and couldn't get it to stay on. Maybe that is what she did.

The way that you do it manually:
With Spyder running and radio, ipod, etc.. on
Assuming the main screen is up
Press and hold the "Mode" button
The screen should change to the Audio screen
While STILL pressing the mode button turn the key off
The radio will turn off for a couple of seconds, but will then turn back on
You can now release the mode button
It will only stay on for 15 seconds.
I am not aware of a way to set it to do automatically.
