Very common sizes. Salmon can run over 50# (i've caught one like that), I had to tackle it when I got it ashore (river fishing on the Kenai)--no net. Halibut can run over 300#--there are a few like that caught every year.

We've had some great memories. In the middle of the ride though, its hard to figure out which is the best.
The one thing that makes this road trip stand out is being able to share it with our friends.

We planned on putzing through Denali but time was an issue. Was hoping to get my Scavenger Hunt picture of a wild animal there. When towns are far and few between, sometimes you have to put it off till next year.
