Default One Day Tunnel of the Trees Ride June 4th

Ok SpyderLovers, here is the plan that Brian and I are doing. Anyone is welcome to join us for any part or all of this trip. You can even make more of it if you choose. On Sat. June 4th we will all meet in Mackinaw City at the Bridge View Diner. That is a box car style diner full of 50's nostalgia. It is pretty neat. We will meet up at noon and have lunch. After lunch we will ride down the shoreline to Cross Village. That is the start of the Tunnel of Trees ride. Of course the ride from Mackinaw City to Cross Village is pretty nice too. From Cross Village we will ride the Tunnel to Harbor Springs. We can end in the parking lot at the marina there. We can visit and say our good-byes and all head to our respective destinations from there. It will definitely be a full day for those of us doing it all in one day. BJT and I will be leaving from Grand Blanc in the morning to be up Mackinaw City by noon, so we will probably take the highway up there.

Another possible thought that we may do if we decide to make this an overnight trip is ride back north, do the Tunnel again and stay the night at the KOA in Mackinaw City. Then ride home on Sunday. We will have to decide that one for sure later.

One other thing, we may be bringing some two wheelers with us, so if you have some friends that want to join us, they are welcome.

Here is a link to the basic ride route. The only difference is we are not starting in St. Ignace, but Mackinaw City. Ride from Mackinaw City to Harbor Springs

Just a bump for anyone interested. We have some two wheelers from church joining us for this ride. So here is an open invitation to anyone that wants to eat, meet, greet and ride. Hoping for a nice afternoon of fun and fellowship.

Bump to see if anyone is going to try to make this ride or not. If no takers, we may cancel. We are saving funds for the BRP trip and our AUG trip. Let us know please.

Default Sorry to say we have to cancel

Well, everyone, I am so sorry to do this as I am the one who planned it but Brian and I have to cancel. Brian's spyder is in the shop and we are praying it will be ready for the BBQ and BRP event.
