    Default How many Spyders

Is there any way to know how many Spyders (RT & RS) BRP has sold in the US? People keeping saying they have never seen on before. Anyone know?

20,000+ in North America is my best guess based on recall numbers, etc.

    Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
    Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
    Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
    Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!

The 2010 steering recall, which included most, if not all, 2010 Spyders and all 2009 and 2008 Spyders, was for 16,485 units. That was for the global production, according to the NHTSA Notice of Defect that was filed.

True, it only affected all Spyders produced through 8/19/2010. That did include much of the 2010 production, though. I do stand corrected however, that number was for global production, and not just the USA or North America.

Between 2,500 and 2,600 registered Spyder owners just in Ohio before the 2011 models hit the showrooms.
