steering recall results
I had the steering recall done today at Honda East, Maumee, Ohio. Dropped off yesterday evening.
Also had check up done for start of season. All is well.
I rode about 75 miles and although the changes seemed subtle, probably because almost all roads are very straight in the part of Ohio I was riding.
The turns were smoother for sure and I did not experience any "twitching" in the steering.
I never had issues prior to this recall being done but as I have read here you just don't know if it will happen and it seems drastic if the steering does put you in another lane.
Overall I am happy and wish I had some roads with curves to try it on. Some in Michigan north of Ann Arbor, but nothing like in the Smokies. I hope to experience that this year.
On another note: Honda East has a black RT-S, SE5 with 750 miles on it for just under 20,000.00 in Perfect Condition that had to be returned by a rider.
Jeff Eckman is my salesman and is first class in knowledge and customer service. Ask for him by name and you will get a good honest history of the bike. I know it's a great deal for someone looking to get the top of the line.
I believe it's a premier edition but he will fill you in.
