    Default Teacher may I...

Well, took the wife to a deserted parking lot to begin her instruction on driving the . Not too bad on her first time ever driving a byke. First rotation she scared herself and me when she overaccelerated in 1st in a circular turn. She said she heard me yelling in the headset to throttle off. No, I wasn't onboard with her, I was standing by directing over the comm. After that little bit of excitement she settled down and did pretty good. However, we do need to find a larger parking lot next time.

I've learned over the years instructing various courses that a calm voice gets more attention in a critical situation. It wasn't until she headed for the ditch that I raised my voice to the level of a scream

Won't take her long. My wife started in a school parking lot about three weeks ago and she was apprehensive about driving on the road. Now she rides like a seasoned rider. In fact she rode about 300 miles this weekend almost all highway riding. Nice RT, by the way. Same color as my wife's RS. I wanted her to get the RT, but because of physical limitations she could not mount one very well, but she can just hop right on the RS.
