MSTA Florida Central Lunch Ride

It's been a while since we were here. Good food, plenty of room, and some great riding in the area.

NOPE....NOPE, I absolutely refuse to say I will be there again until we actually have our Spyder home again. Maybe that's the problem, BRP knows we want to ryde and they are holding it for ransom. Now let's see, this is on the 19th and BRP says they will ship my ECM on the 15th; don't even ask me if I have faith in seeing our byke by the 19th !!!!!

John,
NO sorry to say it is our weekend to be south. You should be there by 11:45 as Bill usually keeps his group on time and they are supposed to be there by noon.
Bill Royal was at the Linger Resturant with his group the Motorcycle Sport Touring Association-MSTA. They are a great group of riders that Mary and I have met at lunch rides for several years now--when we could make it.
They are very friendly and fun to be with.
Bill rides a Honda ST 1300 and has long silvery hair pulled back into a pony tail. A super guy. So have fun and ryde safe. C-YA RL

Well, maybe some GOOD news for a change...Carlo called me today in answer to my e-mail to him and said he was trying to expedite my ECM and that he had talked to Ben at WC about getting me back in the saddle

Can't. My last riding day will be this Thursday the 10th. Going in for back surgery on Friday and my Neuro says no racquetball or motorcycle riding for 6 months.

I play about 18 hours of racquetball a week and put on about 20k miles a year on the bike, so this is a total bummer for me.
I'll be ready just in time for the Smokies though!

Yes the lunch ryde is still scheduled for this coming Saturday.
I will be ryding up from Avon (maybe with a few others) and meeting you there for lunch. If you are organizing a ryde for after, that might be nice.
