Passenger needs on RS...
We plan to become a two Spyder household most likely late this year. (In the process of buying a new home at the moment). Until that happens I want to have a comfortable passenger seat for either of us on our new RS-S.
I really like KewlMetal products and plan to buy their Luggage Rack. (Link). The problem I am having is finding the luggage with the backrest they have in the picture. I have looked and looked. Never finding any GIVi with a backrest at all...
Is this a good idea? Halp! lol...

The backrest pad is an accessory that can be added to many Givi tail bags.

I have been considering the same thing.

We have used a variety of topcases on our two-wheelers over the years, and they provide a real comfortable and sturdy backrest option...plus some great storage space. Givi sells the backrest pad for the topcases separately. I don't know if all their topcases can use this option, but most can. Google "givi backrest pad" for whichever topcase you have in mind.

Looks like maybe a topcase from a Harley, or other cruiser. Why don't you call Matt, and ask him what it came from?

Didn't see an armrest in your link, maybe the one ISCI has?

That looks like a mustage arm rest for a harley tour pak. i modified one to fit on a givi 48, cause my wife didn't like just a pad.

Thank you all for your help. A little more research and we found a reasonable item to try on fleebay. A flat back luggage with a two padded backrest. We figure we will try it first for an inexpensive trila to at least ryde right away. Figuring this will buy us time so we can see what others have used to find the "One" for us...
Also ordered the Luggage rack from KewlMetal, their Frunk light and fender tip lights...

I got the BRP sidebags (hard) and now have the Givi trunk case for helmet and other items...good enough with the luggage stuff for me.
Go with Givi trunk cases...you can't go wrong...they are made very well!

I was going to add my 2 cents worth for your question--but sounds like you have your problem solved. For those with with same question though, Corbin seat with driver & passenger backrests, OR-- Corbin seat with driver backrest and Corbin top trunk with backrest pad attached. This is an expensive option but IMO is the best seat--followed by the Comfort seat. We have used both. The Corbin is on my RTS and the Comfort is on the spouses RS.
