Default ESI Easy Risers - Review

    Greetings all,

Here is my fashionably late review on my ESI Easy Risers:

    Pics will come later...

I have to say that if your budget is a concern, the easy risers are the most bang for the buck as compared to the other risers available. My wife has the other ones on her Spyder and the only difference is that she also has the BRP 1 inch riser block. I notice virtually no difference between the two different sets of risers themselves.

I also have to say that the easy risers were in fact EASIER to install. And lastly, I actually prefer the black finish and overall design of the easy risers over the other ones too. I especially like the angled cuts and "industrial" finish of the easy risers rather than the smooth polished lines featured on the other ones. I finished the look with black knurled bar ends available at Cycle Gear which really complete the package in my opinion.

    Geoff.

Risers look like the next upgrade for me (wrist pain) as well. How long did the install take? Thanks for the review and info.

The install went pretty quickly. I believe it took us about an hour from start to finish. You only need a few tools. A power hacksaw or a pipe cutter will come in handy and you'll need some simple other handtools to do the job. Pretty easy for the DIY'er.

Thanks to Evan at ESI for the opportunity to install and test these on our ride. Sorry for the tardy review.

    Pictures are forthcoming.

Thanks for the info; I just ordered a set and can't wait to get them on.

You will like them. Let me know if you need any verbal help with the install.
