Limp Mode
my new spyder RT went into limp mode yesterday. I was at a local electronics store came out to leave started RT and the digital gauge was totally white. I could start but was not able to get it turn off parking break. Tried a couple of times turning key on and off. Called BRP towing has that all set for them to tow me to nearest dealer which was 26 miles away. But before they arrived, the digital gauge came to life, but was in limp mode. And the VSS light was on as well. I had the recall done and new Dps was installed i guess could have failed. I probably will know the final result of the testing early this coming week. I only have 1255 miles on the bike sheesh. While they have it though i asked them to install my new swaybar i got from evoluzione. They told me take about .8 hrs which will cost me 96 bucks... I must say this makes me nervous it failing so soon after purchase. I have this very long 2000 mile trip coming up in April 2011. I was told though this is very unusual, and the exception not a rule.
