Alternative
I bought the aluminum Harbor Freight variant for $80 on sale - works great, looks great, and is a lot lighter than the steel versions… just had to watch for the right sale (normally $140ish..)

Lamonster, I purchased one of these but since it is so heavy duty, it sits high and will not slide under the Spyder. Since I have never owned a motorcycle lift, is the Spyder unique requiring a special kind of lift? I am thinking about returing this one to PepBoys? Your opinion would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would think it would slide under just fine. I know all my MC lifts work on the Spyder.

I have a Craftsman lift I got from Sears for my Harley and it will not fit under my Spyder so I use some auto ramps I have to elevate it a little then jack it. But I wanna get one that fits because I'm just anal like that lol.

Yeah, my wife suggested auto ramps and I guess I am also anal since I want one that fits.

Jack
I use 2 pieces of 2x10 lumber 2-3' long, pull up on them and then the jack fits, real easy.

Hey Len,
Thanks for the tip! I took the other one back and purchased the one from Harbor Freight. It fits perfect under the Spyder, and it's yellow! My favorite color.

don't know Jack...
A month or so ago I was in Harbor Freight and the aluminum version (same as Sears?) was selling for $150. Yesterday I noticed that the price was $199. Guess they're getting ready for the Christmas rush.
