So what kind of performance improvement did you get? The exhaust sounds wicked.
-
Awesome
So you did it! Did you end up installing it yourself? I thought I was going to make Gettysburg but too much going on yesterday.

Yeah I did it myself
Pretty simple
More hp available than my soft 45 profile tire can put to the ground aerocharger says 145 hp to the wheel and I believe them after riding it

I got to ride Doc's at SITS... And yeah, the rear wheel breaks loose at peak boost and that was with all his dirty laundry on his corbins. I did it in 1st through 3rd, and I know Doc said it would do it in 4th too.
It is utterly amazing how fast that turbo takes that Rotax to redline in every gear.
That pipe that comes with the turbo really does sound amazing.
I'd love the turbo, but I keep pinching myself and reminding myself that I bought the Spyder for touring.... But I still want one eventually.

Also glad to see I'm not the only one that will pass on a double yellow----
Enjoy!

The cover is custom. My name is Sherwin Kahn. Just call them and ask for the same cover. Not sure that will save you the $10 setup fee or not.
Also, they said the newly designed front flange is ribbed to hold the clamp better.

Thx
Yeah mine has a ridge on it so if you tighten the band behind it it should stay
I'm still gonna use a t bolt clamp
Screw clamp just looks cheap lol

Altonk's Turbo SE5
Since buying the Spyder, my first bike, I've gotten used to seeing objects get small in my rear view mirrors. I kinda like that.
I was Altonk's latest victim last Saturday.
Last weekend, we met for a ride in Gettysburg. It was a beautiful day and I was next to last, with Altonk bringing up the rear. Since that was the riding order, I became used to having him behind me.
We eventually left G'Burg and entered the interstate, when all of a sudden, I hear this scream, and as I turned, I see this "thing" whizzz by, accompanied by a deathly roar. He became small rather quickly, although the roar remained. I never imagined that a Spyder could get away from me so fast under full throttle.
Suffice to say, it was a humbling experience. Where do I sign up to get one....

Yeah, it might be an option. What scares me is Altonk's mention that he was not a full throttle. Do JATO's come in six-packs?
