How many miles did you put on your Spyder this summer?
Since the season is coming to a close for those of us further north, I'm curious to hear how much time we all spent on our Spyders since Spring.
Mine was new last year in August and I didn't ride much before the cold set in. I only had 600 miles on it after my first ride (to the dealer) this Spring.
When I parked my Spyder tonight, I checked and total miles is 3830.
So I did 3230 miles in since about May.
I realize that probably doesn't rival some of you, but I'm pretty impressed!
Maybe I'll manage to get in some more good ride time before it gets too cold for me.

3900 miles for me. So far anyway. I wish I could put on more - but my job takes me out of town over 50% of the time.

Bought my Spyder on Jun. 6 and I lost about 3 weeks or riding due to the fire and I have managed to put a little over 5K miles on it
Probably have another 2 weeks of riding before being done for the year.

Put on approx 7000 so far. The colder weather and rain will slow me down until next spring.

Out here in Western Arizona we don't put many miles on in the summer. Not much fun riding at 115*. Will get a few miles on this winter.

I got my Spyder on April 23, 2009 and stored it late in November that year. I took it out of storage in late March, 2010.
I put on about 5,000 miles in the 2009 season and over 10,000 miles this 2010 season and I am still going.
Curiously I have yet to actually go anywhere . . .
I live in the mid-northern part of NH. I just get on it an ryde and let my nose be my guide. I have passed through Canada twice and did a route around Rangeley Lake and then south by Mooselookmeguntic.
These rydes are all pointless in the sense that I never have an objective point of destination.
I have one major advantage -- which is I am about 3 miles from the eastern side of the Kancamagus (kan-ka-maw-gus, not kan-ka-mangus) highway. So every ride that starts there is a gift.
Someday when I upgrade to the new RT Limited I will start to plan rydes to somewhere. For now, nowhere is a good place to go as all those places are spectacular rydes.

You see all the coolest, most interesting stuff that way!
You never know what scenery (etc.) you will see on a ride unless you just ride.
Good going, Bill!

Won't work...after you got yourself "deported" the "authorities" found out you had stayed at my house and they got pretty difficult. Let's just say, the sound of a latex glove snapping still causes flashbacks!!! (you thought the whip was bad!!!).
