RED ROOF INN
This is what we found at the motel Friday eating at the Red Roof Inn, I didn't want to get any closer, since he was already looking for dinner so i sent the wife in to get the picture.

I want to know too. My best guess is "bear". But, could just as well be a big black dog!!
beat me to it!! lol

NO dog, its hard to get photo of a bear in a hall, while it is eating at least it wasn't getting any closer

That was Gene's date for the night leaving.

Now that is pretty cool. The only bear I saw was on the side of I-40 and no longer breathing.

"So I sent the wife in"... that's awesome! Who says chivalry is dead?
BTW- Don't make any wise cracks about the maids fur coat... she's got big teeth.
Seriously, that would be pretty scary. Great picture though!

I'm glad that your Wife got out of there with everything intact... Had that little critter decided to make a break for it, she coulda got run over by it in the melee that would have ensued... I didn't look real close, but I didn't see any other way out than through you guys... did he have another exit available??
