Major fail from Bert's Mega Mall
I tried to order the BRP bags, but was told they would not ship to an address other than the billing address. I explained I'm an Army Reservist on Active Duty in Georgia, but they said it's due to their security policies.
I've ordered dozens of items since I've been here, from vendors including Amazon.com, Street Magic, and Eastern Beaver, and none of them had a problem shipping to a secondary address.
I told them they'll be losing all my future business as I won't deal with someone that treats me like a criminal.

Honestly...I've had 3 occasions where I was called by my credit card company that someone was trying to purchase something and have it shipped to an address that wasn't mine. None were my purchases...couldn't take any legal action because they never actually completed the purchase.
I understand your frustration but they are only trying to protect you

If you have established a relationship with a local dealer you can have them order the bags and pay for them when they come in. They might be willing to do the right thing -- help out a fella serving our country.
Hell, the dealer around here will do that for an idiot like me.

All you have to do is add another shipping address to your visa-- can be done in a few minutes online or over the phone-- then you can have stuff shipped to the other address too. I have multiple addresses on many of my cards.
A vendor should NOT ship to an address that isn't on file with your Visa-- that is just asking for trouble and against the CC vendor guidelines. Any vendor that does that and it ends up being a scam will be blamed for such a security breach.
Sorry, but Bert's was doing the right thing and looking out for the best interest of the cardholder-- which just happened to be you.

I called my bank to check and they can only assoicate one address with my card. Their stance is as long as I provide the correct name, house number, zip code, expiration date, and 3-digit verification code, then it's a valid transaction.
I appreciate all the feedback. I understand why they think they need to do this, but that doesn't mean I have to like it or support it.
I found another dealer with similiar pricing and should be receiving the bags on Wednesday.

I had trouble buying things at a Rally. Vendors with different state address. I called the Credit Union issuer and they let them go through. You might try calling the the card issuer and asking about something like this.
Good Luck and Thank You for service to our Country.
