    Default Butt sir!

In a previous life, on a two wheeled older Honda Goldwing, the motorcycle seat was modified by a local gentleman so that i ssit on the motorcycle where the pillion rider would normally be seated. With my giant physical body and long legs, squeezing my anatomy on to the one Spyder I drove was an interesting exercise!
What ever Spuder I purchase the two items I would change would be the location of the portion of the seat where my large butt would be placed, and I would ensure the windscreen is of high enough height that I would just be able to look over the top. The Goldwing had a custom windscreen, made by a friend in the plastic industry, he is no longer doing so.

Beyond the seat and the windscreen would ride the machine for a while until change elsewhere was required. My Syder shall probably have an amateur radio (VHF/UHF) installed with Bluetooth connections to the helmet.

Speakers blaring while riding would be an exercise in futility. The audio would not be able to rise to my ears; it would be lost in the turbulence.
My body Height above and well back from the source would
received very little of the audo. and increasingthe volume was in past machines, not practical.

I shall continue to read and comment. One of these days...

That all sounds logical to me. Just how tall are you though that you had to sit on the rear passenger seat of the GoldWing? I have a feeling a modified RT may be more suited to your stature than an RS, but that is only a guess on my part.

I think you'd be surprised, although I'm willing to be surprised myslf, at how well the Spyders in either RS or RT models, will fit the larger frame. I'm 6'6", and though I occasionally have ridden on the pillion seat of the RS, have ridden for several tankfuls in a day on the RT.

Closer to six foot nine inches,
have been tall and massive all my life.
Weigh at the best of time about 375 pounds.
When I started secondary school all too many
years ago, I had to have a pair of gym shorts
    manufactured for me
as none of the shorts available
would even come close, I was just 14 then,
    now 64.

The Goldwing was set up for me had installed
Koni s,oil-filled shocks on the bike from the get-go
as the air pressure based shocks simply
    would bottom out at maximumpressure
when I sat on the bike.

As I said in the original message, nothing fits..
waist size is 52 inches, shirt size is extra extra
long about a 6XL, neck size is 22 inches..
just big, not muscular, just big. (Fat?)

It's quite possible you would want to go the Elka shock route with a Spyder, should you choose one, too.

I was 360lbs when I first got my Spyder last July and the weight was really not an issue. I turned the shocks up all the way and it handled great. I even has a 180lb passenger on once for a short trip which was well over the weight limit and it was still manageable. A year later I'm now down to 277 and it does handle better (and accelerate more quickly ) but not a huge difference. You're major issue will definitely be more with your height I would think.
