    Default Wayward Antenna

Returned home from a very nice ride today on the RT.....but for some reason my antenna flew the coop.

Where can I get a replacement? Is it covered under warranty? Is there a fix for the problem? I don't want this to become a recurring issue.

    Thanks for the help.

I tried blue Locktite on mine after finding it loosening several times and that didn't work for me so this time I switched over to red Locktite and after 3 trips so far so good. Seems to have little or no effect on radio reception too. Bill

Red is for high temp applications I think. It may be require high heat to disassemble. I see no reason why blue in conjunction with the lock washer wouldn't work.

Be careful with the locktite. I used blue on mine and my radio signal pretty much dropped out all the way. BRP shows putting it on the first threads only.
