Innovative and Engineering skills I guess....
    Congrats.

Can you share the design concept.

I'm curious If the design can be modified to hold a Foldable bicycle.

There are a few commercial products out there as well. If you are hard core and want to take your clubs with you on a long trip, this might be just the ticket.

    Default bike rack/622 trailer

We are in the process of having the trailer hitch and trailer all installed but were thinking about occasionally attaching the bike rack (pedal bikes) to the hitch. More fun to drive the rt than the car and that way we get to have a little exercise as well. Has anyone out there tried this.

By the way, the complete installation quote was $4,100.00. Is this a good/bad? deal? That is hitch, trailer and labor. Also, would like to know if you out there are satisfied with the trailer and whether or not we should have a head's up concerning problems.

    Thanks ahead of time.

    Default $$$$

One of the brp trailors is designed to hold 2 sets of clubs....here in canada the hitch is $600 the trailor $5000....installation ???? one would thinks the installation should be free for that price...but seeing I wouldn't spend that much I never checked out anything about installation. Are you saying the install is $4000 ???? wow...pretty good pay for about 5 hrs work.
Oh.....reread your post....where did you find hitch/trailor/install for $4,100 ?? sounds like a smokin deal.

The only thing I can think of for sure is that the Mel's Monster Garage hitch is a receiver style hitch. You could put that on your spyder and then add a receiver hitch bicycle carrier. Something like this:

or go a completely different route with something like this:

Very nice, thinking a spot for an aux fuel cell? Think it would hold 40lbs?

Just be careful. For some reason thoughts of the Ford Pinto sprang into my mind when reading this.

Sounds like you have a good plan for it. Best of luck with it.

That Club holder is pretty slick. I like it better than the commercial offerings shown on the links. Very well done Sir!

As far as Aux. fuel goes, you gotta go with a fuel cell. Anything less and you are asking for trouble. But when you are touring having that extra petrol would sure come in handy! I also didn't realize the costs associated with setting one of those trailers up. Naive on my part I suppose...
