Spyders in the Smokies Rally, who's going?

Myself and deanarm (hubby) will be there. Supposed to go last year but Dean's Spyder went into the shop right before and we couldn't pack the two of us and all of s**t on mine. No time to get a trailer. Looking forward to finally meeting all y'all this year and Lamont's BBQ.

Not sure if I will make the journey. Nancy is back to teaching by that time, so I'd have to make the trip alone. I really hate travelling without her!

Mike and I will be leaving on Saturday the 19th... taking 2 days to get there. We'll be swinging by Indy to pick up Tina and anyone else who wants to ryde together... probably make it to just before or just after Louisville and crash... then the rest of the ryde on Sunday.

You're more than welcome to ryde with us-- and our schedules are somewhat flexible......

Then we'll be heading back on the following Saturday/Sunday.....

We prefer a relaxed ryde taking 2 days.....

Looks like I finally get to meet other Spyder Ryders

. The rally will be held in Gatlinburg, TN.
If you live in Maryland or Virginia and would like to ride there in a group, please PM me I'll try to set up a useful meet point that will cover, food, fuel, and rest in the area of Virginia Beach, VA.

I am booked for the rally since April. Good timing on the post though as I have to book the Red Roof Inn. Gonna get on that right away. Hope to see a lot of us there - it was GREAT last year

Count on two more from fl, My wife an I will be there for the first time as SpYder riders, We've been there more times then we can count on, on two wheels. We're really looking forward to meeting everyone for the first time. Were Staying at the Family Inn Ski Mountain Rd. Were leaving the 21st arrive the 22nd to the26th . John & Carol

I'll be there late Monday - Sunday @ the Red Roof. Looks like I will be leaving early Monday morning from Tupelo going through Birmingham, up to Chattanooga, through Knoxville and over to Gatlinburg if anyone is interested in riding together on the way to Gatlinburg.

, but, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. It's lonely here in Hampton Roads, Va. There are about 22 Spyder owners within a 50 miles radius here, but have only been able to ride with two

. I hope more will come out of hiding soon.
Did anyone camp at the last rally? If so did you plan on doing it this year, too. Were are the good grounds?

It looks like Capt. John and I will be at the Red Roof. I look forward to renewing old acquaintances and meeting some new ones. Lamont, there may be enough Spyders in your front yard that no one (not mentioning any names) will have to cross the ditch.

Despite all the issues I'm having with my

, I pulled the trigger and registered for the SitS as a room at the Microtel. I had such a great time last year and would like to put more names with faces in person.
Keeping my fingers crossed...

For those who are wondering, it's still in the shop but Carlo is on the case now so hopefully the wheels of progress will start to move....
