Removing the tail light
I'm fitting a towbar to my GS and adding an isolator for the trailer lights (pics soon).
While I was under the seat on the weekend, I thought I'd have a look at pulling the tail light off (because of the limp mode stupidity).
I read the manual, and managed to find the screw behind the tail light, (near the bulb receptacle) but no way could I see or feel the one that is beside the tail light. The pic in the manual is almost useless because it is taken from behind the bike. It doesn't show how far forward the screw is.
Could someone give me an estimate? An actual measurement? A picture?
Cheers;
Pogo.

Thanks mate!
Docdoru, that's brilliant! Thank you very much. Now that I know where to look, I'll be able to pull the tail lights and fit some LED globes.

Thanks for the pic. I can't get at that back screw though. There is a steel plate covering it. I have a 2008 GS SM5.
