Its awesome. I got a little ryde on it today and the feeling of the rear tire slipping in 4th was great. Now, on wet rainy roads that might be a different story. Doc, you just have to outrun the rain........

How does the Nanny react when the rear starts slipping at that high of a gear?

I think I would dump the MCcruise and go to one of the electric ones.
Why convert electricity to vacume and then vacume to mechanical.
The all electric will use a lot less watts than a vacume pump and watts are at a premium on these bikes (as they are on most bikes)

Sounds like you are having too much fun! Great project! and with 7lbs of boost it should be fun for a good long time.

For the second day of "testing" I chose the "fast" settings (9-12 boost) for a 500 miles.

However, I have a McCruse one and it works great. But, I would still like to have the info on your so=called electric ones.

Doesn't it work since installing the turbo? Manifold vacuum should be normal while on cruise.

Depending on where the vacuum is ported, it could be pressurized...or neutral, constantly. Even if there is intermittent vacuum, it would take a vacuum canister and a check valve to supply steady vacuum.

Besides, when have we known Doru to just cruise?

McCruise pulls vacuum from the throttle body, and now the turbo has replace that part for its own use.
Yes, Scotty, the McCruise does have a cannister and a check valve.
I think a vacuum pump might work.
I asked Doc about his vacuum for the purge valve and he stated that it is gone, or at least pluged off and the evap tank gone.
Any ideas about how much vacuum was produce via the stock throttle body connection??

Day 3: still getting used to the UEGO/Bosch display (Lambda) and the EFI controller.
    New rules:
    1. Wait 1 minute to take off after a cold start.
    2. Keep the air/fuel ratio between 11.5-12.5 (if reads 14=very lean, 15.4= "danger at wide open throttle"; didn't try at 18...).

Curious as to what the 0-60 times are on this Aero kit? I know you are limited to the tires performance.

Maybe a rear with AA traction rating and one of the soft thread compounds for better grip. Something similar to the ones used on the Cobra or Viper. Ken krb1945

Aerocharge and McCruise : Joe (spoiledbiker.com) tap a vacuum reservoir (30 cc) after the check valve, between the Aerocharge air box and the supply side. McCruise is working again!
