Its now Wednesday Morning, hows the install going DOC?? Yah I'm excited for you on this one.. I'm thinking off the top of my head you probably should add to the list a couple of extra rear tires on your bench stock.. Hope you can provide a couple pictures along the way.. Look'in good and wish you the best on the install...

Say it isn't so... Loud pipes are a safety feature! One vote for keeping the original pipes in.
Hope a seat of the pants report is forthcoming... ...
It's so.... he has to run the exhaust that comes with the turbo kit----- maybe he'll put that loud pipe setup for sale out here-----

Will this turbo allow you to go over 130, or will it just get you to 130 a whole lot faster than everyone else?

That is what I figured, but I just wanted to make sure. I remember having to change the sprockets on my GSX-R in order to increase the top end speed, but I cannot remember which way I had to do with it. Would this be a matter of changing to a different size sprocket for the belt drive, or is it the actual gearing of the transmission?
I hope you have a safe trip to Portugal and back Doc.

Lurking on this thread with interest......
May be the next purchase for me.
With regard to gearing just change the front sprocket to a larger size, I believe Mels make a couple of different sizes.

We discussed this some time ago--- and when I was going 128 I was NOT redlining--- the wind resistance was the problem-- the engine just couldn't overcome it---- but maybe with the turbo it can....
He'll be able to get up to speed quicker for sure!

So you actually had Aerocharger install yours for you? Definitely let us know how the entire process went, and the results of your ryde home as well. Stay safe, as I am sure it will be something you haven't experienced before.

Yay Docdoru. Good luck on the install.
I am riding up on Wednesday. Aerocharger is in KC and I am 4 hours south. I figure why not have them do it and do it right.
