national guard 11m (mech Infantry) 97 to 04 deployed to bosina for the last 10 months. Lost 2 guys from my guard unit in Iraq, **** deal. Their families are the ones people should thank as well as the vets that gave all.

USN Don't know rank or years service. I know he did one enlistment only and saw 3 months duty on the USS Essex during the Korean war. I think he told me it was her last cruise before it went in for modernization to the angled flight deck.

USAF/ANG Retired
Joined the ANG in 1964 and served until 2002 when I had to retire due to age. Served in the first Desert Shield/ Desert Storm 2000/2001 in Cairo, Egypt for several months. Several deployments all over the world and don't regret any of the time served. Great friends and memories. I was an Structural Repair Technician on KC-135 air refueling tankers. Love my .
