I am working on getting the co leader to sign up and join Spyderlovers so he can post the info - but until then I will be passing the info on.
It will be in Livermore or Tracy and appears to be equal distance for all the ryders that have joined WCS Nor Cal.
The actual location will be determined very soon. There is a sign up on the BRP events page, starting as soon as BRP makes the changes to the updated Info.
I will post the link when BRP site has reposted the event.

For those interested in signing up for the Meet N Eat, the event is now active on the BRP site. The link below will take you to the page where you can sign up.
Location shows Livermore, but that could change to Tracy, just depends on which is the most central once owners start signing up.

The WSC of Nor-Cal Meet N Eat is on Saturday the 24th (eatery to be determined soon).
The Dinner at Cattlemens on this Saturday (tomorrow) is just a get together for those who would like to meet up with Ken Miller and I, since Ken will not be able to make it back up here for the Meet N Eat.

Three Spyders & 1 M/C spun around the backside of Mt Diablo today. What a beautiful day for a ride. I can think of several off-site eaterys to get together at.....By now we should know where were going??? By now there should be some calendared events? Wat's Up?
In fact...is their anybody interested in planning some fantasic trips together...IM GAME. A nice one day turn around into the wine country or up to Thunder Valley or any of the other five indian casinos in the area. A trip to Placerville, A trip up Hwy 4, a trip to Yosemite, A trip to all the festivities throughout the summer...including the Garlic fest in Gilroy or the Pear Fest...near the twin towers off Hwy 160..
I'm Clutch..and I'm new to the East Bay Riders.

You gave me the idea to go to Knights Ferry yesterday. I did on the off chance of running into your group but obviously I did not. So I went on to Merced Falls and then back to Manteca. What a day for a ride!! There is no place prettier than the foothills in the Spring.

If you like to ryde you should consider ryding with the WCS ryders group as they ryde all the time and now with the New Nor Cal chapter there should be lots more spyder ryding near you.

Recluse,
You're absolutely correct about the foothills being the best in the springtime. That would truly be a nice ride to take up through the foothills off hwy 49 from Shingle Springs to Sonora . there are so many places to stop along the road getting there from 88, 12, 4, 120. Another trip I'm planning would take our small group of East Bay Riders through Fairfield at cherry picking time, then up through the hills to Cache Creek casino. Rest stop, lunch, gamble and then ride on to southern tip of Lake Berryessa to Rutherford/Napa and back home.
WCS? I joined and haven't received one acknowledgement from whoever is running the chapter up here in Tracy. One would think there would be some kind of welcome committee, but every club is different. So I'm moving forward and plan on having fun with or without WCS.

Clutch, you24824, my husband, and I had a great ride around the delta and the backside of Mt Diablo yesterday. I too have joined WCS (many moons ago). I am into the idea of monthly rides.... with our without WCS, as Clutch has said.
Recluze, I'd love to catch a ride with you sometime. You go to some of the best places.
Happy ing!!!

So let's ride. I am out a couple of times a week and would love to share my favorite ride out of Patterson with some of you. It is 100 miles and 610 tight turns and most of you have probably done it a thousand times so I will shut up.
Spydergirl: Next big trip is to the Humungous Fungus. Stay tuned.

I wish you all well on your rydes, 20% of the information is posted on the 2 national forums (SpyderTalk and Spyderlovers) only as a courtesy to all Spyder Ryders.
Ryde info and event info is posted on the WCS site as it always has been, Maybe your lack of following the correct sites have given you a false impression that WCS posted everything on the 2 national forums or BRP site.
Starting a new chapter is not the easiest to do because our chapters are a Ryder group with a chapter leader and not a club. Active ryders that participate such as you will make the local chapter grow and be more active ryding.
Additionally we are out ryding not sitting home looking for someone to ryde with. The event (meet n eat - april 24th) location was selected today and the address will be posted very soon on WCS first.
Had you followed the WCS site (you are members as you stated) you would have more info or I could have met all of you Sat. or Sunday since I am in Tracy, Ca. right now as posted on the WCS site and you all were invited to dinner sat. as posted.
Wish I could have gone to Cow town and am looking forward to the pics of what sounded like a great event- hats off to gene and his group - that's what ryding is really all about get out and meet and start new friendships.
Best Wishes to the ryders

I do visit WCS, but there never seems to be much activity going on or I just don't know where to look for the information.
As for the meeting over this past weekend, there wasn't enough notice for some of us to make plans to get out to Tracy (it's not exactly in our backyards). Sorry we missed you, we only knew of the meeting on the 24th, but last we had heard (sometime last week) we had no idea where it was going to be.
Anyway, I still have plans to try to attend on the 24th. Please make it known to us where the location will be as soon as possible.
Thanks.
