Spyder Sightings

We were on vacation last week and we saw, Monday on our way back from Faribault while sitting at a DQ in Northfield, a Magnesium RT went by on Hwy 3. On Tuesday on our way to Mora, we saw a green RS and we both waved. And on our way to Cabela's heading south on 35, we passed a red RT riding 2 up.

I have only seen one other in Minneapolis and that was last year.

I was at Swabbies along the Garden Hwy, Sacramento CA a couple of weeks back. I ride a blue RT and when I came out there was another blue RT with Deer Alerts near by.....

Then....my guy saw the same blue RT at Auburn C&E Bike Night, Auburn CA.

1700 smyles on my Spyder and I've only seen two others on the road. Second one was yesterday afternoon around 2:30 or so. I was heading toward town and the other was headed out of town (the way I should have been going).

Saw a Blue RT heading east on 460 toward Newport VA.

We were the Blue RT heading west out of Newport VA at around 3:45 this afternoon (6-30-13)

Finally passed another ryder while out on Smurfette! Happened around 415pm on Rte 3a @ 129 in North Billerica. Who knew it was possible to do the "windmill" wave because you're so excited (and happy)!!! Was it anybody here???

My wife and I were headed home from Rock Springs Texas this afternoon. While driving (not on our Spyder) around San Antonio on Loop 1604, we ran across a silver Spyder headed in the opposite direction. It was good to see a fellow rider!

This weekend while burning yard waste I saw Cindy drive by on her silver RT from my back yard. She was with 3-4 bikes.

Fathers day weekend I saw a Red RT, a green RSS and an orange RSS all on the northside of Indy/Carmel area. The orange one was on 465 and am pretty sure he didnt see me on my yellow RS.

Well, it only took 347 miles for us to see our first spyder.

7/4/2013 around 10:00 am, Highway 66 in Fate texas, near Rockwall. Saw a White RT limited coming east bound while we were west bound on our Blue 2012 RTS....

I believe I have seen them before a year or so ago at the gas station.

Hope to see them again.. :-)

I saw a blue RT at Napoli Pizza off Forest Hills rd. and 251 in Machesney Park, IL Wednesday July 3rd. Would love to know who it was.

Today while heading north on I 55 near Blytheville, Ar. I saw 2 Spyders heading south. One was red and the other I think was Lava. Mine was a blue RTS. The only bad thing was these 2 Spyders were being trailered. Why would anybody want to trailer a Spyder than riding it especially on a beautiful day like today. We were heading up to Lambert's where they throw rolls at you.

A couple weeks ago, I saw a black Spyder . . . in a garage, a block from my house! Had to stop and say hi. Small world . . . the driver and I are both retired military and he works for the same government organization I recently retired from . . . we have mutual friends!

Spotted a white RT leading a group of 2 wheelers on US35. They were west bound out of West Alexandria, OH. Wife and I were rest and re-hydrating in the Shell station.

12 July 2013 at approximately 530pm, spotted a dark blue RT heading south in the HOV lane, Alexandria, VA.

Went to Motor Vehicle in Loveland Colorado, to register my white Spyder and trailer and parked across the street was a red one. Inside M/V there was a woman with a helmet. Turns out she lives near me and loves her Spyder AND trailer too. First time I saw one, I knew that's what i wanted. Anyone see any others in Colorado?

Was doing some shopping today near the Woodlands and we saw a dark blue Spyder on 242. We were in the wives Nitro but we still tried to give the thumbs up.

Sat. 7/13/13 i saw a blacked out w/red pin striping and loud exhaust between Durham and Raleigh NC.Sounded good.He was fixing to get rained on.

Spotted a white RS while taking a tour of Centralia, IL. Didnt get too close a look, and wasn't familiar with the area. My wifes gandparents hometown.

Saw a blue RT on Route 222, it was traveling south in Pennsylvania on Sunday morning riding with a group of about 5 bikes, then later in the day saw two spiders heading south on Route 15, an RT and a RS, also in Pennsylvania, both times received enthusiastic waves. Wife and I were our white RT towing our 622 trailer headed home to NY.
