Your BIG day is fast approaching and I'm jealous. Wish I could be there with you...looks like a FANTASTIC event. All of you who worked so hard to put it together should be proud of what you've done. Other than Gatlinburg, probably the BEST Spyder event I've seen.
Just one caution...DO NOT let Gene lead!!

Time
So far all the folks I have met on a spyder have been fun seekers and not ashamed to admit it. Gatlinburg was a fine example--- Lamonts BBQ nothing but smiles The guy from Canada that thought the green pool cover was a tennis court and tried to walk across nothing but smiles.
A time to be remember and many of us were there.
Now the Missouri Rendezvous is a gathering of many of the same spyderlovers---just the thought of that group makes me smile. Me and a bunch of other people have a chance to do something really fun for spyderlovers and its coming together. If you have been to a bike fest or major motorcycle event you will quickly realize that this one is unique. Today I got a call from a 2 wheeler who said this event is incredible he has never seen or heard of anything like it. The work involved by many people back stage happens because they know it will be appreciated,
Thus far the those signed up represent riders that want to help in anyway they can.
I am smiling right now knowing that we have worked to remove any semblance of bike shows in the past.
For those that are unable to attend the Rendezvous we're sorry you couldn't make it.
We are going to take lots of video and everyone taking pictures will want to share theirs ---so we have a plan. We will put together a web site to share the Rendezvous---not the same as being there but the best we could come up with.

Gene is right this is turning in to a big event, even bigger than I expected and I think it even suprised Gene and Len. I'm sure small town Missouri will be talking about this for years. With the visibilty to Interstate 44 I suspect travelers will be talking about what they saw in Missouri, just think of the CB chatter from the truckers.
So Gene I take it you want a green cover on the pool.

Needed information
OH MY
Someone is upset about missing the Rendezvous.
Did I mention Irish Guinness Smithwicks is a nickle a bottle----
not very popular here in Budland.
Although it is a cure for athletes foot if you will soak for 4 to 8 minutes.
