I'm a Professor with a focus on culture and social change. I created a sexual assault prevention program that reaches about 2,000 people per year throughout the U.S. If California's economy gets much worse and they close all the universities I'm moving to Kauai and becoming a surf instructor!

What a great thread, glad to know more about all of you!
Retired from a petrochemical company - Manager of IT stuff, some Logistics and M&A.
I've been a teacher, pharmacy manager, A&F salesman, medical office manager, freelance commercial art, Audit and Controls for BC/BS in Illinois, freelance computer programmer/systems developer ( OSHA compliance mostly ). It took me 56 years to get from being born in Michigan to retirement in New Mexico on February 26, 2004.
I now just do volunteer work for Food Pantries and other charity organizations . . . AND . . . lots of freelance road inspections in the 4 corners area on my Spyder.
