Welcome back vt228, I wish you the best in your continued recovery.

As for me, I spent 10 years in the Marine Corps until my knees gave out on me. Since then I have worked for 3 different companies, starting out as a computer programmer and now I am a senior engineer. Been playing in that field for the last 15 years.
    Very Happy Spyder Ryder!

Spent several years in the Marine Corps and now I'm a VP at JPMorgan Chase Bank.

However, I take no responsibility for the financial crisis. Those decisions were way above my pay grade.

Retired teacher. Taught Gifted Middle school students (much of the time, they taught me) for 31 years. Coached football, basketball and track for 22 years. Now I run PowerSports4Less, a business started by my Dr. son and his computer programmer buddy. Sometimes I think I am working more now than before I retired. The difference is, I'm the boss and I come and go as I please. After 31 years of teaching this kind of customer service is a piece of cake. Plus, I get to see all kinds of bikes and meet all kinds of bike enthusisasts.

HA! No. I'm not that old!

    My favorite geeky programmer quote:
"There are 10 types of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't"

Number One: 2008 Yellow GS SM5. I love my Spyder.
Number Two: 2012 RT-S Limited (the poop colored RT) I still have Number One, but Some Girl made me buy Number Two...

This has been an interesting thread. Spyder owners are from all walks of life (except no butchers, bakers or candle stick makers). Based on approximately 80 replies so far, 35% are retired and 65% working. 80 is not enough replies to trend across all owners with repect to high retiree percentage. That my be skewed since retirees have more time to post replies, but when compared to other age related threads, the Spyder does have a significant Centrum Silver demographic.
