Certified Financial Planner, right now. 30 years in the tobacco industry...nope, never smoked anything legal; however, it wouldn't have done for me to work in a brewery or a *****house. ;-)
I love what I do. A lot of people need the hand holding on their retirement savings, and I'm up to the challenge.

Very small fry here-------
I currently teach in a non-certified teaching position, Elementary Computer. I teach K-5th graders computer technology, keyboarding, word processing, etc., been doing that for 22 years now. Prior to that I drove a school bus for 7 years. I have also tried to run my own over the road trucking company and have worked, or should I say, dabbled in the retail industry but it wasn't my cup of what ever! (LOL)
My wife teaches high school math, and have been married for 25 years next June.

I was a Navy Photographic Intelligenceman and Intelligence Specialist until I was medically retired in 1982. I was then a DoD intelligence analyst until I retired in December 2011.
Now my "job" is the starter (flagman to you NASCAR weenies) for three professional open wheel auto race series...the F2000 Championship Series, the F1600 Formula F Championship Series, and the Formula Atlantic Championship Series, all sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing and stepping stones to Indy Car. We race in the east and midwest from April through October. From time to time I also still work as a starter in SCCA Club Racing, but nowhere near as much as I used to.

Back in the '90s and early 2000s I was the starter for the U.S. F2000 National Championship, which, over time, was sanctioned by USAC, SCCA Pro Racing, and Grand Am.

I have owned a few businesses in the music industry over the past 20 years... Recording studios and independent record labels, but when those took a turn for the worse I looked for a new opportunity. Now I own a national Apple mobile product (iPod, iPhone, iPad) repair business.
