    Default Question

Just wondering if anyone has noticed feeling more vibration through the foot peg with their RT than with their GS. I can feel a significant amount as compared to what I felt with my GS.

I don't know if I feel more but I do feel it. It's a v-twin and vibration is part of owning a v-twin. All in all I think it's pretty smooth.

I have felt it, too. It shouldn't be different, but it may feel different due to the revised seating position, and the fixed pegs. Pretty much disappears above 5,000 rpm, so it's a reminder to me to keep the R's up. The RT-S seems to be more "vocal" about protesting low rpm operation, than the GS/RS was.

Could be also the engine break-in.

Yeah, I've noticed more also, but it seems to be only in 5th gear.

    Default More Vibration

    Hello,

My dealer was telling me that the RT had an extra cross brace by the engine, that was suppose to make it smoother than the RS.

    go figure
