43,672 miles on a 2008 RS
I have about 3,000 on the two RT's that I've had but that don't count till I get one that I'm going to keep so my RT mileage is 00000
Bought my spyder on 02,23,2010. It is a 2009 sm5.
Didn't ride much in the spring as I went to the hospital for a second knee replacement on the same knee. Then after I could get around, I started riding. Put on 4378 miles as of Nov when I put it to sleep. Hopefuly this year will be better than last year health wise. Happy new year to everyone.

41,120 miles as of this morning.
I had about 18,869 on last year.
The snow storms screwed me out a few miles.

I have had my new RT since June 12th 2010 and have 5,100 miles. Winter has set in so that's about it untill around April. However getting better with the Spyder RC. The dogs don't like it much yet.

Every time someone asks "So how many miles you got on that thing?" I reply "A hundred. Done all in rain and snow."
And then I sit back and allow them to explain to me how much better it is if I would use up my Spyder quicker...

when you are as popular as you are Lamont you will get less I am sure because everyone is talking you up and with the events I am sure it drags down the miles.
Your miles are a standard to go by for sure, thanks again for the idea of this thread, I did forget exactly what I had last year.

I was just explaining the opposite of what you say to people I work with that either don't ride or have a harvey danielson in the garage that they are "keeping the miles low on for the resale on their 95 stock sporty"
I said that I must be poor or from being raised that way to have something that costs 20k just sit or only have a handful of miles on it.
I do understand that there are real life factors that relate to this like kids, wifes that don't ride, normal jobs and not wanting to ride in the rain, wind or on cloudy days but I can not say that you can use a spyder up running it.
I see people on here with 1500 miles that have WAYYYY more problems than I do and I run it arguably too much or too hard.
From my limited experience with all toys you drive IF you let them sit they will go to crap more than the daily driver. I know this sounds silly because moving items wear and you have a chance to crash as soon as you get it moving but that does not change what I have seen.
Maybe its because I didn't buy mine to pull the tarp off it and say "look at quick before it get dirty" I mean thanks to lamont I DID win a award at a spyder show with the death machine.
Everyone that rides I consider a friend on the road and more so if they are on this site but friends can disagree and I think thru talking about disagreements is how people really get to see someone else's perspective.

+I've updated the RAKNID FUEL RECORD to reflect this past year's 22,852 miles. My moto-mileage has crept UP after the commuting change... and I'm enjoying the miles even more... hmmm.
I passed 900 hours in the saddle yesterday afternoon. 8^D

As of December 31, 2010, Spyder 2009 SM5 = 86,645 miles. This means I rode 50,545 miles on this Spyder in the year 2010.
My annual mileage has not decreased as I grow older. I can hardly walk, but I love to ride. In 2010 I took off nine weeks from riding due to the weather being too cold (three weeks) or too hot (six weeks). I have not done this before. I guess old people don't handle weather extremes so well. I also abstain from riding when I get visitors from up north, unless they can ride with me.
In 2011, my mileage will be split between my 2009 GS and my 2011 RT (soon to arrive).

As of Jan. 1st, I think my Spyder has around 14,300 miles. Can't say for sure though since it is undergoing a winter project right now and I have no access to it

I'm a newby so only have 280 miles on my 2010 RT purchased in November. Can't wait for warmer weather and my husband to recuperate from heart surgery so we can go riding. Friday we had 64 degree temps so I took the RT out but missed his Harley riding next to me. The temps soon dropped back to winter. Come ON spring!!!
