Nope, no standardization. Some use Flickr, some use Google Docs, Roadkill actually has a separate blog. Some have noted that there are folks on Irish's scoresheet that we've never seen, likely because of various site permissions.
I'm with you; I really enjoy seeing the other photos...

+Last week, I rode to the 2010 Chicago Spyder Owners Event of June 25-27, with meandering travels anticipated so I could also visit the National Motorcycle Museum and, along the way, snag some additional points in the Scavenger Hunt. I left Thursday morning for an anticipated Friday evening Libertyville (North Chicago) arrival, without a planned route or destination this first night, simply aiming west. In fact, my posted trip route was this:
http://www.roadkillonline.net/imaged...s/35_10272.JPG
Starting in Walker Valley, NY (1), here's Day 1's gas stops (2 - 5) plugged into S&T 2002, with a terminus camp (6) in Findley State Park, Wellington, OH. (Route is not exact.)
http://www.roadkillonline.net/imaged...s/35_10278.JPG
A very nice place to overnight and, "Once a state forest, Findley State Park is heavily wooded with stately pines and various hardwoods. The scenic hiking trails allow nature lovers to view spectacular wildflowers and observe wildlife. The fields, forests and quiet waters offer a peaceful refuge for visitors."
Here's what the bike looked like before unpacking to camp the first night. The large bag containing essentials is a waterproof item from GuideGear, the red item is my tent, a camp chair is the greyish item (won't bother next time), and my Guidegear camp mattress is rolled atop. In the rear stash bag is a roll of emergency TP (never know), some faceshield soap, my overgloves for rain, and a plastic bungee jug which served secondary duty to prop the seat during refueling (because of the seat's load). To refuel, I'd simply loosen/tighten the large bag's straps at the grab-bar, ensure the parking brake was engaged sufficiently to push/lift the seat, and insert the bungee jug as a prop wedge. (Worked fine the entire trip.) In the trunk was a camp blanket & pillow, my briefcase with maps, phone, camera, etc., a cap and sundry bottles of hydration picked up as I travelled.

Day 2 (6 - 11) had me aiming for Libertyville for the night with an enroute Scavenger Hunt point snag of Chester, Michigan (8). (Route is not exact.)

I'll always find dirt roads. (Intersection of Chester and Carlisle.)

POINTS (#66 +50) As I left Michigan later on, I shot an image of the welcome sign spanning the northbound roadway.
http://www.roadkillonline.net/imaged...s/35_10280.JPG
On Day 3 (11 - 14), I just ditty-bopped between the owner's event in Lake Villa and the Libertyville hotel, with a gas stop in Grayslake (13).

Day 3, cont’d…
+While in the area of the Chicago Spyder Owners Event, I took a few miscellaneous shots. (I took a few plate images too, but I’ll post them in an upcoming OT/OPCI upload.)
Spyder Lane demo ride trailer at the event location (Lehmann Mansion):

CanAm mini-blimp hovering way above Spyder Lane and the outdoor showroom:

Lake Villa P.D. CanAm Spyder. I wonder how well the radar gun mount on the muffler dissipates heat and isolates vibration? And check out how the gun wires are routed atop the muffler. Radar guns are sensitive electronic devices…:

The Lakes Community High School Pom Squad was washing vehicles a short distance away:

Back at the Candlewood Suites hotel that evening, I had a blast giving various hotel guests rides around the nearby corporate park:

Tomorrow I ride onward north, west, south, carrying a teeny bit of extra weight, as BRP gave participants mc-sized souvenir plates. I’ll mount mine on the garage wall at home:

Tonight I'll be tenting in Wapsipinicon State Park. Dedicated in 1923, Wapsipinicon was one of Iowa's first state parks. It lies just south of Anamosa on the Wapsipinicon River (locally referred to as the Wapsi). The sandstone and limestone bluffs in the 394-acre park are covered with moss and columbine.

Tonight I’m camping in Randolph County State Recreation Area (21), an Illinois state park on 1101 acre in Randolph County, Chester, Illinois.
On Day 6 (21 - 27), I needed to adjust my routing a bit because of the potential of inclement weather caused by Hurricane Alex, so I dropped Chester, Missouri and Chester, Arkansas from the itinerary due to their locations in the western parts of their respective states and continued south.

Unfortunately, just north of Tupelo, Mississippi (enroute to Chester, Mississippi another 2 hours south) the weather began to be impacted by the northern bands of Alex, so I cut my losses and aimed for the Natchez Trace Parkway, taking it from there northeast to Nashville. North of Nashville, I grabbed a Red Roof Inn room for a comfy evening, and went across the street to do some laundry.

aerialdall,
Just looked at the photos on your link. What great photos of the Manhattan area! I lived just outside Manhattan for 23 years and the photos brought back memories. I also ride a red RS but my friends there said they had never seen a bike like mine in the area. They must not be looking because we're had to miss!

Thanks! It's been fun cruising around this part of Kansas. The Flint Hills has western Kansas beat by a long ways. If you haven't been back to Manhattan in awhile it certainly has changed. I haven't seen very many Spyders here either but I do know of a few. Tell your friends to keep an eye out for me cause I do cruise through Manhattan frequently. If they see me tell them to wave or stop & say hi! If you ever make it down this way give me a shout & we can let your friends see 2 of us. lol

I'll provide supporting fires on the request for a 2011 edition. Maybe we can get BRP behind this one and end it at the owner's event. Lord knows this scavenger hunt has taken my Spyders to places that have never seen one before, and the need to stop and set up the picture generally is enough time for the questions to begin. It's a marketer's dream, if they'd give it a little thought.
Still's been a great contest, so thanks again, Irish (and the rest of y'all whose photos I'm enjoying)!
