Love this one; haven't had the courage to do the Kiddie Park near my house in San Antonio. I just may have been inspired... Naahhh (Soccer Moms near military bases are likely to be armed, and I don't want to go out like that.)

    Irish,

PDF's are allowed. Have you tried to download and install a free PDF printer like "Cute PDF" or "PDFCreator". Then go to File/Print and select the PDF "printer" to convert the spreadsheet into a PDF.

    Default Clarification

    Irish,

Given that there are three Continental Divides in North America and many more throughout the other continents, will any of the Continental Divides satisfy

    55. At the Continental Divide (50 points)?

This might help our brethren in the far flung reaches of Spyderdom, and I'd surely like to see some out of the US participation/photos. Still waiting for a koala/Spyder combo...

    I reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continental_divide.

    Irish,
    Another question regarding your list.

    88. A sign with the longest word

Are you talking about the longest word in your native language? Are you talking about who ever gets the longest word and only one person will get the points? Please elaborate. Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Doesn't matter what language it's in as long as your Spyder is in the frame. I will calculate the number of letters and that person will get the points. But lots of luck trying beat:

    • A lake in Webster, MA: Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg
    • Thai name for Bangkok: Krung-thep-maha-nakorn-boworn-ratana-kosin-mahintar-ayudhya-amaha-dilok-pop-nopa-ratana-rajthani-burirom-udom-rajniwes-mahasat-arn-amorn-pimarn-avatar-satit-sakattiya-visanukam
    • A hill in New Zealand:Taumata*whakatangihanga*koauau*o*tamatea*turi*puka kapiki*maunga*horo*nuku*pokai*whenua*kitanatahu
    • A township in Ontario, CA: Dysart, Dudley, Harcourt, Guilford, Harburn, Bruton, Havelock, Eyre and Clyde

So does that mean these have already been used? Also, I know it is your contest and your rules but that township in Ontario is not a word, it is many words. Don't see how that can count. It seems like it should be one word, not hyphenated, or commas or spaces. That first one, the name of the lake, that one is probably a winner though.

    Deb,

Think these are examples of place names from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_word

Since I just happened to be in the vicinity of Washington-on-the-Brazos (cited in the Wikipedia article, by the way) I thought I'd better snag it after Irish used the hyphenated example of Thai name for Bangkok: Krung-thep-maha-nakorn-boworn-ratana-kosin-mahintar-ayudhya-amaha-dilok-pop-nopa-ratana-rajthani-burirom-udom-rajniwes-mahasat-arn-amorn-pimarn-avatar-satit-sakattiya-visanukam; it has the Guinness World record for longest place name in the world.
