Anyone have a link to Full Warranty? Does cold weather riding void warranty?
I plan to purchase an RT Limited in April. I also plan to use it year round, even though I live in a northern climate. Someone just told me the warranty is voided if you ride in colder weather, but I can’t find warranty details online anywhere. Can someone clarify this clause of the warranty and maybe point me to a link to the full warranty? Many thanks in advance.

That sounds crazy if true. I ride my Spyder year round, even when I was in Colorado. I guess by "cold weather" I would be out if it was above 35 or so.

Go to page 182 of this link and you can read the entire warranty. Smells like someone was trying to feed you a ration of road apples.

I ride all year round and have never had a warranty issue (I've only had to use the warranty about 4 times over 12 years on 3 different year RT's). I was never asked "Did you ride in cold weather?"

How about rain? "Someone" doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. I ride in the winter, I don't have a choice I don't own a car. I do my own work on my Spyder. I run car tires and I buy oil at Walmart. I do keep good records of maintenance that I perform and I have never had an issue the two times my bike needed warranty work.

Sounds like you use your Spyder the same way I intend to, and we live in similar latitudes. Much appreciated.

They may have confused or misunderstood the warnings: do not drive off-road, on snow & ice, & using a non BRP trailer voids warranty? They have been a bother before.

Thanks for watching my video! I haven’t bought one yet. First week in April. I’ll post a video when I do.
