Good word for the guys at Utopia seats
I just wanted to drop a note about the customer service at Utopia seats. (utpr.com) I found a driver's backrest by them on eBay at a great price, but it was missing the whole under-seat mount. One of the brothers at Utopia sold me the mount only, included a missing bolt, and made sure I had what I needed with instructions and the whole bit. I like the backrest very much as well, its adjustment ability is great! Did an 8 hour round trip with it last weekend, and it definitely made a difference.

I am already very familiar with the superb customer service of Utopia. When I when from an RSTD to an RSV I wanted to take my RSTD Utopia with me. They provided me with the proper different RSV mounting plate plus directions. I have now used a Utopia on an Royal Star Tour Deluxe, Royal Star Venture, Spyder RTL. They have all been very comfortable.

I swear by the Utopia backrest I have.

The only (minor) issue I seem to be having is that if I put it enough forward to reach the handlebars and be fully upright and not "hunched over," my butt doesn't touch the back of the seat and gets no support. (I'm 5' 7"...a short guy). I currently have the backrest all the way lowered because my lumbar is where I need the support. I will continue with different positions to find the perfect combination.
But make no mistake, having this is WAY better than not having it!

To fix the " LUMBAR " I told folks to TAPE a piece of wood ( or similar ) to the bottom of the metal bracket wear the PAD touches it and that will give you more Lumbar support ..... try various thicknesses to achive perfection ..... Mike
