Default Does anyone use their Spyder 12v Dock for plugging in heated gear?

If no problems, let me know. I have 2022 RT L with the dock station installed & use the USB side for my phone etc... Thought it might be easier than wiring heated gear direct from the Battery.

I use a Dual Power Port( USB & 12 Volt) for my heated gear, and my battery tender.

It is plugged/wired directly to my battery.

    Hope this helps.

I also added picture to" My Album" of the Dual Power Port.

I also use the Dual Remote Control Heat Troller( by Warm & Safe) on my and on my snowmobile.

The Dual Remote Control Heat troller is water proof, and can be left on the bike in the rain, Sealed with tactile on/off w/ 300 degree rotation from 3% to full on!

Handles 15 amps @ 13 Volt with internal reset for overload & shorts + works from 7 volts to 24 volts.

Best setup is a direct to battery, fused wire with SAE connector and coax adapter. Can also be used to trickle charge. A more elegant solution is to use a relay controlled by the GPS (key-on) lead behind the right side panel but that prevents using the same wire for trickle charging.

How many amps (or watts) is your heated gear?
