BRP GO to iPhone cable connection works at start up but not afterwards
I doubt I'd be the first person to ask about this but cannot find any info when searching.
When I head out on a ride I have the iPhone connected and BRP Go working with Genius maps and iTunes icons showing on the dashboard display, able to open the apps and things working as well as they can be expected - maps and music.
When I stop for a coffee and remove the iPhone, and, after returning say 30 minutes later, I go through the same connection procedure as I did initially I cannot get BRP Go to work. The Genius maps and iTunes icons will show on the dashboard, but I cannot open the apps. I can try the connection procedure 3 or 4 times without any success.
Once I had success connecting after restarting the iPhone, but not always.
I'm wondering if this could be an iPhone issue or perhaps my connection procedure is not correct. It's quite frustrating because the very time I want the maps to work is when it won't.
My iPhone OS is 17.2.1 - the most up to date for this model.
Any advise appreciated.
