2013 Spyder RT-S SM5

2013 RT-S SM5. Around 23,000 miles. Recent repairs at dealer: New airline system (not compressor, that was replaced a couple years ago.) Replaced gear sensor. Oil leaks repaired. New spark plugs. A-arm bushings. $3800.00 in parts and labor spent on it, split about 50/50.

Bike has the following:

Complete Mustang seat with both backrests. (very comfy)
2 OEM seats. One is in good shape and one not so much.
Gas door if you want to cut it in.
1 travel/trailering heavy duty full cover.
1 lightweight full cover. 1 half cover.
Rivco driver floorboards and heel toe shifter. (have stock pegs)
Lamonster web highway pegs. Very rare, not made any more.
Heated grips for driver and passenger.
Power windshield.
New air shock and protector 2 years ago.
Voltmeter added.
Tires are excellent.
Battery less than 2 years old and always on a tender. A brand new battery maintainer is included.

While in the shop from July to December we moved up our choice to buy a newer F3 Limited. So now we sell the RT. It will be missed. Great ryde!!! I hope the picture shows up.

Spring is getting closer!!!! I would not wait till it gets here to look for a ryde. Now is a good time to start looking for a nice used Sypder RT-S. I happen to know where you can get one.

Just bought a battery tender to hook up to it for the rest of Winter. It will go with the RT with the sale. Is it spring yet? Not here. How about where you are. Time to plan for ryding season! Time to upgrade!!!

Doesn't anyone want to get a jump on the season and buy early? Perhaps you or someone you know is looking to switch from 2 wheels to three and wants a manual transmission! This would make a great transfer machine to get into the 3 wheeler crowd!!!! Would love to see someone get this and ryde.

Please don't make me re-register this so it does not sit till sold! I plan on waiting till June before registering ang insurance and inspection. But, I do not think it should just sit there and look pretty. The new owner would make "Evil '13" look really good in my eyes.

It is a super clean looking bike, but you might want to adjust the price. Most are looking to get into the 1330 and 6 speed transmission if they are going to spend over $13k. I just sold a 2013 RTL for a friend with 6k miles for $10k. Now, that was super cheap, but just something to look at when pricing. Either way, good luck with your sell, and your area might be different from down here. GLWS

I understand that thought process. Time and "need to sell" will determine. The "book value" is what I'm going with for now. I'm not greedy but I'm not giving it away either.

If you have Facebook, try listing on Marketplace. Craigslist used to be very good, but Marketplace is slowly replacing it for many people. I have sold and bought quite a bit on both. Just be careful about who you allow to come to your home to view an item that is for sale. Good luck.

Listed it on Craig's List this week. Also listed our leather gear that does not get used much. Relisted those on MarketPlace/Facebook. Sold 2 jackets and a pair of chaps! Some guy says he wants the other 2 pair of chaps, so they are "pending". That leaves the full-length leather coat and Evil' 13 to sell. If the RT does not move, I may try selling Nugget (2021 F3 Limited) and run Evil '13 and look to trade it for another F3 Limited. That would depress me. I'm starting to really like Nugget. But Evil '13 is also missed.

Still no real inquiries on the RTS. It is still a tad early for the season. But, if the 2013 RT does not sell, then I will have to offer the F3 Limited as well and run which ever one does not sell. I will not keep both. Anyone want to make an offer on the RT? Not sure I'm ready to accept any but if you are seriously looking, it cannot hurt to make one.

So, not much interest yet on the RT. Started setting it beside the main road to see if anyone might call. And put it and the F3 up online locally, along with my 10' trailer to see if anything catches an eye.
In the meantime I am going to re-register Evil '13 and ryde it. With a for sale sign attached. I really want to do a true "shakedown" of it anyway seeing it was in the shop till December and we bought Nugget to replace it. I will sell which ever one gets interest and keep the other to ryde. Anyone out there got money to waste please give me a call!!!!!
